Weigh the coffee where it lands, not beside it.

Every brewer who weighs a cup already owns a scale, a kettle and a grinder. Presa moves the measurement into the vessel the coffee falls into, so the reading is the brew itself. Ceramic holds heat, and the numbers sit under the cup instead of next to it.

Weighed at the pour.

Presa is a stoneware pour-over dripper with the scale built into the base, for brewers who already weigh every cup and want the measurement where the coffee lands.

Weight at the pour

The load cell sits under the dripper, so it reads what actually reaches the cup.

Ratio on display

Dose, pour weight and time in one view, with a target ratio you set before brewing.

Ceramic holds heat

Stoneware keeps the brew temperature steadier than thin glass or plastic cones.

USB-C charging

Recharges over the same cable as the rest of your desk. No coin cells, no app.

Our story

Why ceramic, why here

Pour-over brewing has settled into a routine: grind, weigh, pour, watch the clock. The scale is usually the last thing on the counter and the first thing to move. Presa puts the weighing element inside the dripper, so the measurement happens at the point of contact between water and coffee. The stoneware comes from a kiln in Portugal, a short distance from the people who finish it. The result is a dripper that does one added job and does it in the place it belongs.

Presa began with a simple observation: the scale sits beside the brewer, so the brewer has to look away at the moment that matters. We put the load cell under the ceramic, so dose, pour weight and time read from the vessel you are already holding. The stoneware is made in Portugal, near the kiln and the hands that finish it, because a dripper should hold heat and hold up for years, not seasons.

Who it is for

01

You already weigh

You own a gooseneck kettle, a burr grinder and a scale, and you use all three.

02

You buy by the bag

Specialty beans at 12 to 20 euros a bag, and you want the brew to match the bag.

03

You follow the method

You watch brewing channels and compare ratios, and you want the numbers in one place.

How a brew runs

  1. Set the ratio

Choose your dose and target ratio on the base before the water goes on.

  2. Pour as usual

The display tracks pour weight and time while you work the kettle.

  3. Read the cup

Final weight and time stay on screen, so the next brew starts from a number.

Questions

Anything else? Join the list and ask us directly.

Is the scale accurate enough for coffee?

The load cell is specified for the range a pour-over brew uses, from a dose of coffee to a full server. The exact resolution and tolerance will be published with the final specification before the first drop.

Does the base need an app or a phone?

No. Dose, pour weight, time and target ratio are set and read on the display in the base. There is no app and no account.

How long does a charge last?

Battery life depends on the final electronics. We will publish a measured figure from production units rather than an estimate.

Is the ceramic body dishwasher safe?

The stoneware body can be washed by hand. The base contains the load cell and electronics and must be kept dry, so it is not dishwasher safe.

Where is it made?

The stoneware body is made in Portugal. Assembly and electronics sourcing will be confirmed before the first drop.

What does it cost and when does it ship?

The dripper is €129. Shipping dates depend on the first production run; join the waitlist and you will get the date before it is public.
